Organized Storage Solutions

Bathroom Remodel GKandB

Most clients at Gilmans Kitchens and Baths have one common request – a functional kitchen. Whether this requires changing the layout of the kitchen or making a few tweaks here and there, the one thing that always helps is adding customized storage solutions to their new kitchen.

Here are our top 5:

1. Garbage and Recycling

Hiding your garbage allows for a more spacious feel to your kitchen and keeps it looking fresh and clean too!

2. Corner Solutions

Lazy Susans have now become Super Susans (no more pole in the middle), to allow for extra storage. Ask your designer to show you the Lemans, Magic Corner, and Half-moon-Susan for those annoying blind corners!

3. Pantry Pull-Outs / Roll-out Drawers in the Pantry

– Gone are the days of pushing and shoving cans and bottles aside to find the right one. Pull-outs and roll-outs help keep things visible.

4. Deep Drawer Storage

A lot of our clients are shifting from placing their pots and pans / dishware in their cabinets, into deeper drawers. Not only is this more convenient, but it helps for aging-in-place, as well – no more having to kneel or bend over to look for your pots and pans.

5. Spice, Towel, Tray and Utensil Pull-Outs

What better way is there to use 3″- 6″ of space, than to keep your spices, trays and other necessary kitchen items in an orderly fashion?
