Condo Overhaul – Kitchen

The finished kitchen space is attached to the other public spaces in the home. Done in Dura Supreme Valencia “Ginger” on Cherry cabinetry by Gilmans designer Kathy Smith becomes the traditonal design that anchors the mix of contemporary art and traditional furnishings. To set it off, a Dura Surpeme “Salsa” painted finish on Maple in the same Valencia door style gives a punch of color to anchor the breakfast nook.

Features:

Lighting: above/under cab lighting, skylight, recessed.

Countertop: Cambria Berkeley, Creamy marfil in Dining Nook

Flooring:  raised where the tile floor had been lowered to flush. New engineered hardwood flooring was installed throughout the main public spaces

Hardware: TK M376  BSN + M1131 BSN pulls mimics the appliance hardware with an added edge

Backsplash: Travertine Honed “Desert Cream” in diagonal separated by Daltile “Mosman” copper pencil to the lower 2×2’s in the same material/finish.

Fireplace: done in the same Travertine, cut from larger format stock and trimmed with Paredon pencil liners in the dining nook after eliminating the fireplace hearth which was encroaching on the dining space.

Plumbing: Kohler Bellera Faucet, Artisan dbl bowl sink w/GD, Sink grids, Instant Hot system.
