Lucy Kuo – San Mateo Design Assistant

Lucy is a Design Assistant with the Gilmans Design-Build team. Lucy produces detailed design and construction documents, which can be used for both remodeling and new home construction, as well as space planning/design, material selection, color consulting, CAD drafting, and detailed construction documents for remodeling production and permits.

She joins the team with an extensive background in the design and construction industry, as well as experience in other fields including, custom cabinet design, furniture design, home decoration, organization, and fashion design. Lucy has completed her education through NKBA, The National Kitchen & Bath Association.

Lucy has been working in the Interior Architectural Design Industry for years internationally in Asia and the USA. She graduated from Academy of Art University in San Francisco in 2004 with a major in Interior and Architectural Design. Her past 10 years of experience in California has been spent focusing on residential interior design with a specialty in full Kitchen & Bath design and remodeling, however, she has also designed numerous projects with her team in previous projects that include retail spaces, commercial spaces, and customer homes.
