Amy Crovetti – Mountain View Designer
Amy is a designer that takes a very information-based approach with clients, as she believes that the details about products and processes are needed for clients to make a sound decision. She firmly believes that straightforward and open communication is what makes any design a successful one and passionately shares her knowledge with clients when discussing their projects.
At thirteen years old, Amy fell in love with the historic homes and architecture while on a family vacation in Virginia. She took in all of the details and character and became dead set on becoming an architect in the future. On her journey to architecture, Amy realized that her passion was for improving existing homes, rather than building new ones, so she pursued and received a Bachelor of Design in Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from the University of Minnesota and The Art Institutes International Minnesota.
Currently working at the Mountain View location, Amy gains satisfaction from a job well done and ensuring clients are comfortable with all the decisions they have made. She loves the amount of detail in design and thinks of each element as a piece of the puzzle – for Amy, the technical aspects of design are just as beautiful as the overall look. She prides herself on being able to give her clients, what she calls, functional beauty. Amy also has experience in tile and plumbing, which is an additional level of service she can incorporate in projects for her clients.
Having recently moved to the Bay Area from Minnesota, Amy enjoys exploring the area and visiting the many hiking trails. She also enjoys cooking and supporting local farmers markets and artisans from the Bay Area.
