Mahogany

Mahogany is a rich and beautiful wood from the Ivory Coast Region of Africa. It is a tropical hardwood that is quarter sawn cut in order to show off a ribbon effect that is desired when choosing Mahogany for kitchen cabinetry. Mahogany has a variety of color from a dull light brown to a reddish brown, with shades of pinkish browns. Mahogany comes in many different stains and darkens as it ages.
