Gloria Carlson, CGBP, ASID Allied Member - Designer, Foster City Gloria Carlson, a Peninsula resident for over 35 years, recently joined Gilmans Kitchen + Baths in Foster City after working for 7 years as an in-house Designer at a design/build firm in Palo Alto.

An “education junkie”, she has two degrees from Stanford University and four Interior Design certificates from Cañada College, where she specialized in Kitchen and Bath Design and Green/Sustainable Design. With her knowledge of both construction and design, Gloria offers a very practical approach to her projects, with efficient space planning, an aesthetic eye, and attention to budget.

She prides herself on listening to her clients and providing designs that are appropriate to their lifestyles and their homes. She has won awards for her designs from the local chapters of ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) and IFDA (International Furnishings and Design Association).

We spend all our time in the kitchen; because it is so beautiful and we love it so much! And it functions just as great as it looks. Despite its small size, there is a place for everything and no more clutter on the counters!
